Michael Joseph Jackson , born in 1958 in the state of Indiana (USA), was an American singer and dancer, popularly known as the King of Pop.

With a career marked by great success, he began singing in childhood with his brothers in the group The Jackson Five, but gained fame and worldwide prominence as a solo artist after releasing groundbreaking albums such as Off The Wall (1979) and Thriller (1982), which became the best-selling album of all time.

In addition to their memorable and captivating songs, their music videos also revolutionized the industry and set new standards for audiovisual production, featuring iconic storylines, costumes, and choreography that have influenced generations of music, dance, and fashion artists to this day.

Interesting fact > The famous Moonwalk wasn't invented by Michael. The move, which gained prominence in his famous 1983 performance, had been seen decades earlier in the choreography of several other artists such as Cab Calloway in 1932 and Bill Bailey in 1955.

Elvis Aaron Presley , born in 1935 in the state of Mississippi (USA), was an American singer and actor affectionately known as the King of Rock and Roll.

Being one of the first stars to combine various musical genres, she gained fame in the 1950s with her innovative fusion of rock, blues, and country in several hits such as Blue Suede Shoes (1956), Hound Dog (1956), and Jailhouse Rock (1957).

Known for his charisma and unique style, Elvis made a huge cultural and social impact during his legendary career, helping to popularize rock and roll and much of the fashion trends of the 1950s and 60s.

Interesting fact: In 1958, Elvis had to interrupt his rising career for two years to serve in the American army in Germany, where he was introduced to narcotics that would later become one of the possible causes of his death in 1977, a death that is still questioned today.

The Beatles , formed in Liverpool in 1960 and composed of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, were a British rock band respected as one of the greatest and most influential bands of all time.

Known for their elegant, uniform suits, creating a clean and sophisticated image, the Beatles were responsible for revolutionizing rock and pop culture, possessing in their repertoire great musical classics admired to this day, such as: Love Me Do (1963), Yesterday (1965), Hey Jude (1968) and Here Comes The Sun (1969).

With resounding success throughout the 1960s, the band ended its activities in 1970 after releasing its 13th studio album, titled Let It Be. Even with their breakup, the Beatles left an immense legacy, and the cultural impact of their music continues to inspire generations of musicians and artists.

Interesting fact > In 1967, The Beatles participated in the first live satellite television broadcast in history, with approximately 400 million simultaneous viewers in 26 countries. John, Paul, George, and Ringo performed the song "All You Need Is Love," composed especially for the occasion, on the BBC's "Our World" program, sending a message of peace and unity at a time marked by global political tensions.

The band AC/DC , formed by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young in Australia in 1973, is considered one of the most iconic bands in rock history.

With their heavy Hard Rock sound and electrifying live performances, they gained global recognition with several albums, such as: High Voltage (1975), Highway to Hell (1979) and Back in Black (1980), the best-selling rock album in music history.

Despite facing challenges throughout many decades on the road, the band continues to deliver all its energy and sonic essence to fans of the various generations who have followed them, proving why they are considered one of the greatest rock bands in the world.


Fun fact > The band's name came about after Malcolm and Angus spotted the AC/DC electrical symbol on their sister's sewing machine. The name, which in Portuguese means Alternating Current/Direct Current, highlights the band's energizing characteristic, also represented by the lightning bolt symbol in their logo.

Robert Nesta Marley , born in 1945 in Jamaica, was a singer and songwriter popularly known as the King of Reggae.

His musical career began in the 1960s as a member of the reggae band The Wailers, but his artistic peak came after he fronted the band, achieving international recognition as Bob Marley and The Wailers, attracting a multitude of fans with his famous albums such as: Catch a Fire (1973), Exodus (1977) and Uprising (1980).

With lyrics addressing themes of resistance, spirituality, and social justice, he popularized reggae and Rastafarian culture around the world through his classic and emblematic hits, such as: One Love (1965), No Woman No Cry (1974), and Redemption Song (1980), which continue to carry his cultural influence and keep his musical legacy alive.

Curiosity > Bob's hairstyle, featuring tangled strands of hair and popularly known as dreadlocks, was related to his religious beliefs connected to the Rastafari movement, based on quotes from the Old Testament and symbolizing his faith and devotion.
